Thank you for your interest in Eastside Inspection Services. We are Certified Members of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Our reports and inspections meet or exceed the widely accepted and recognized Standards of Practice required by ASHI, and we subscribe to ASHI's professional Code of Ethics.
We are also members of The National Organization Of Exterior Finish System Inspectors (NEFSI) and The Washington State Pest Control Association (WSPCA).
In addition, we are licensed by the State of Washington to inspect for Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) and for conditions conducive to (WDO) growth. This type of inspection is commonly referred to as a "Pest Inspection" and is included with our standard home inspection at no additional fee.
For our protection, and yours, we carry general and professional liability insurance AND our policy extends coverage to referring real estate agents and brokers, relocation companies, appraisers, lenders, and attorneys.
Who are we? Good question! Eastside Inspection Services (EIS) is comprised of two (2) very competent and reliable inspectors with many years of inspection experience. We usually work as a team, thus speeding the process and saving your time. We are Wendell Hedges and James Adams. We come to the inspection business from successful and complementary backgrounds in construction, real estate, and property management.
James and Wendell are both graduates of the nation's premier inspection training school, Inspection Training Associates (ITA), now a Kaplan School.

Upon your request, we can send a copy of your report to your real estate agent, and most clients prefer that we do.
